This post is called ultimate weight loss tips and this will be my focus for today. In the search for the best way to lose weight and maintain that weight. The search is never ending. So today I’ll be talking about the ultimate way to lose weight safely. This will involve what you eat, drink and when this is done. My post will be based on my opinion, which carries 43 years in sport and International competition. I will also be adding research to confirm what I have said.

Life will throw us a variety of challenges and as we grow, we learn how to overcome them. This doesn’t happen overnight and in some cases it can take a lifetime. Losing weight is among the many challenges we face. It’s as old as time itself, yet the quest never ends. I’m not going to say I have the silver bullet the whole world as been searching for but the ultimate weight loss tips will come close.

To lose weight effectively, we need to pay particular attention to our lifestyle. If we want to keep off the weight we have lost, we need to keep some form of record. At the very least we should be on a training program, that is on going. These are simple ideas that I’m hoping you already know. But if you didn’t, you do now.

Now that we’ve established the basics, let’s look at the next level. The first of my ultimate weight loss tips is let you know you must combine moderate exercise with a “lifestyle diet.” This is a word I want you to keep in the forefront of your mind. Because this help you focus on the task at hand and you’re going to achieve it. One of the important things that helps with losing weight is having a weight loss target. Ginger has been used for centuries and the health benefits are scientifically founded. I’m a very big fan of ginger but I’ve never tried it has a tea. Never mind using it for weight loss but it does work! Usually ginger is used for flavoring food and growing up has a child, I experienced it In sweets my mother used to make. That was the good old days. Ginger helps with weight loss by creating a fullness, which means you won’t feel the need to eat. As a part of a life changing plan, ginger tea could play a winning role.

Green tea and Black tea.

This a very common tea, that I have tried, I didn’t like it much. Isn’t it true that all the things that are good for us, tastes foul! But if you’ve got a taste for it’ll do wonders. Green tea encourages the body to burn fat and boosts our metabolism. It also helps to keep our blood pressure regulated. Our metabolism is in charge of how efficiently our body burns calories. Green tea is known to be one of the best weight loss drinks around. Its main ingredients are beneficial antioxidants and catechins. Drinking 3 grams per day, over a 3-month period can help you lose between 0.44 to 7.7 lbs in weight.

Black tea contains very similar qualities to green tea. Although it contains antioxidants and polyphenols, which is an additional property. I haven’t given it, it’s own heading because they work in the same way. My experience with this isn’t good. It tastes foul and I would drink it but it would be under protest. Enjoy!

Water.

Water is a must do drink. Weight loss or not our bodies contain approximately 65% of water. This helps to keep our organs functioning at their optimum levels. When it comes to weight loss, water helps by keeping us full. Now have rate different things about water. The idea is to drink approximately 500 ml before a meal. This helps with digestion and promotes fullness. Which in turn means we consume less. The big discrepancy for me is the temperature? It is recommended we drink it cold but I have heard that cold water is bad for the heart! My advice to be safe is try to consume water, that as been sitting at room temperature.

Apple cider vinegar.

Handle with care, would be my first warning. Apple cider vinegar helps to promote weight loss by keeping the body fuller for longer. It contains acetic acid which helps to improve our metabolism, which in tun speeds up the burning of calories and body fat. I’ve added this drink to my ultimate weight loss tips list for variety. The big downside to this drink is because it’s acidic, there’s a risk of tooth erosion. The recommended amount to achieve any health benefits, is 2 tablespoons per day.

Protein shakes.

Using protein shakes for weight loss is a bit of a balancing act. Protein is required by the body, it’s one of the building blocks that our body needs. It’s also fact that the body needs to work harder to digest it, a job that can be made harder if not accompanied by carbohydrates. Tests have shown that consuming 56grams of whey protein, over a 4-week period could result in up to 5lbs of weight loss. I would also recommend you choose a good training program to complement this option.

Foods that create weight loss.

We can’t lose weight by just drinking. Do remember our special word, “lifestyle” is the best way forward. The ultimate weight loss tips, is about creating a plan to lose weight through clean living. Eating sensibly and not drinking large amounts of bad sugary drinks, if any at all. The best foods for weight loss are:

Meats.

This is all protein and my list contains Beef, Chicken and Steak. These are a very good source of protein and work in a similar way to a high protein shake. Your body will burn more body fat with a high protein diet but I would stress your consumption is combined with a training program and carbohydrates. Protein and carbohydrates need each other to burn efficiently.

Fish.

I’m a big lover of fish protein for a couple of reasons. My first reason is that it contains omega 3 fatty acids, which is great for our body, it’s known as healthy fats. The types of fish you should be adding to your lifestyle plan is Salmon, Trout, Sardines and Mackerel. Tuna is also a great source of protein but not high on omega 3.

Green leafed vegetables.

Has a part of a healthy lifestyle, vegetables should be consumed. There’s no disadvantages of eating buckets of veg, in most cases, the more the merrier. The main benefits of eating vegetables is it offers a great source of fiber. Vegetables also gives you a deep feeling of being full. My choice of vegetables would be Broccoli, Cabbage Cauliflower and Sprouts.

Dairy Produces.

Eating dairy products high in Probiotic qualities is a major bonus to the gut. The chosen products are would be Cottage Cheese and Full Fat Yogurt. Cottage cheese is high in protein and very low in fat, which makes it a super choice. I’ve eaten this in the past and my choice was to have it with Chives and a jacket potato. Your mix might be different but that’s an option. Full fat yogurt is again a great source of protein, with the added bonus of supplying good bacteria for the gut.

Snacks.

Every one snacks, I do and so will you. During this part of your day you can eat Fruit, avocado, grapefruit and Nuts. Fruit is good for us and have has a great way of helping the body, stop absorbing sugar too quickly into the body. Grapefruit is a great weight loss fruit. The best way of reaping it’s benefits, is to eat half a grapefruit, half an hour prior to eating your meal. Studies have shown this helps promote fullness stops overeating. Nuts in all it’s shapes is good for us. But I would advise you to not over consume these, due to its high fat content.
