What are the benefits of losing weight.

There’s no denying that losing weight feels good. The whole process will leave you feeling lifted and revitalized. Now this really just touches the surface, losing weight and by that I mean any amount of weight. Losing weight will have significant health benefits for your whole body.

The biggest winners will be your heart, lungs and joints. These are detrimental to your health now and as you age.

Heart benefits are:

Losing weight will give your heart a great boost, that will continue to be of benefit. Even if some weight returns. There will be a great increase in the hearts ability to pump blood around the body efficiently. The thickness of the hearts muscle tissue will increase, and so will the walls of the carotid artery.

This is a great relief to anyone who is obese, whose heart is required to work harder.

Benefits to the lungs.

Studies have shown that overall 30% worldwide of us will be obese by the year 2020. It gets worse! The same study stresses that by the year 2030 around 11% of us will be morbidly obese. This will lead to major respiratory problems. So, as you can see losing weight can have significant benefits, way beyond looking good.

What does losing weight mean.

We’re interested in learning how to lose weight in a week. But what does losing weight really mean? In my opinion losing weight means getting on a set of scales. And seeing the dial move to a favourable position. This will tell us we have lost some body mass, which will be either fluid or fat. This would be the better options but a poor diet can also lead to losing weight, by losing muscle and tissue.

So studies tell us that we need to lose weight and where possible we should maintain a healthy weight. The best method would be through a healthy lifestyle, which would mean healthy eating and exercise.

How to lose weight in a few days.

There’s a simple calculation that will point you in the right direction. If, you take into consideration that a men should eat 2,500 calories and a women should eat 2,000 calories per day. This is to fuel our bodies with the necessary nutrients it needs. To burn 1 pound of body fat or 0.45kg requires us to burn 3,500 calories. This information tells us that we would have two options.

Option 1 – Cut back on your calorie intake by 500 or 1,000 calories which could lead to losing 1 – 3 pounds. This would depend on how efficient your metabolism system is? Or There’s option 2 – Cut back on your calorie intake by 500 or 1,000 calories and increase your exercise regime, to burn additional calories. This could create a greater weight loss over a shorter period. I would imagine between 2 – 5 pounds. But this again depends on how efficient your metabolism system is?

Best way to lose weight in a day.

This type of weight loss is known as a crash diet. I have talked about the various ways you could lose weight, over a short period. The benefits weight loss can have on the body and why we should do our best to stay fit and healthy. The amount of weight you could lose over a day is not easily calculated. Your calorie intake is recommended for a reason. That reason is to promote a healthy body.

I would add any weight loss over a 24-hour period, would be from losing bodily fluids. Which would return as soon as you enjoyed your first drink. To truly lose weight and be able to measure it accurately, it needs to be over a longer period. But you could use a combination of calories reduction, exercise and a strict diet.

  • Reduce carbohydrates – 20 to 40 grams per day.
  • Increase your protein intake.
  • Increase your vegetables.
  • Exercise 3 – 5 times per week. Where possible add weights to you routine, if this isn’t possible increase your cardio regime.
  • Consume the bulk of your calorie intake by 3pm.

This should give you a drastic weight loss. Which could see you lose up to 10 pounds in a short period. But I wouldn’t advise this type of workout and diet for longer than 3 weeks!

How to lose weight in a week – my conclusion.

There you have it, there’re many ways to lose weight over a short period. You know how to lose weight in a week and the guidelines I have suggested will help with your weight loss goals.
