There are some expired / broken links to amazon and a link to a wikipedia article, but I’d like to see more discussion about the science and why this method is preferred. For example, is this method good for quick weight loss for an event / weigh-in for an athlete, or better for someone kick-starting a bigger weight loss goal, or best for ongoing reduction in weight?
